[ There's envy and anger powering his efforts, but at the forefront of his mind he wants better for Riku. He genuinely doesn't want the Darkness to do this to him. If he has to open a darn Corridor to get inside a Darkness this deep, he'll do it. For Sora if nothing else. ]
