It would be easy enough to tell Riku that he's not in the mood to talk to him specifically right now, just because talking to Riku has been so fraught with over-thinking on his part. But then he realizes that right now it's... not. He's not over-thinking about Riku, he's just stuck thinking about Zenyatta. It's not as hard talking to Riku as it once was. ]

... I don't know what I need. I should be meditating right now to find out.

I don't have anything to fall back on that I can trust except the last 15 months of new memories, learning from about four people in how they react to others, teaching me what I should be doing. Zenyatta and Nahyuta gave me calm enough to think through all of that.

[ And right now he can't get to that calm space. ]
