Who: Trunks with Giru and people, maybe you
Where: various places
When: throughout the month
Format: [ be brave and gimme gimme power ]
semi-open
Summary: Trunks doing stuff and thangs with Giru and some other people. Closed prompts within threads with an open prompt or two for whoever wants to come across the pair. o/
( A; TRICK OR TREAT?? )
[ Whether or not the tradition is one held within Verens, Giru has come to learn of Halloween, especially the whole asking for and receiving treats part of it. So, having tossed a small white sheet over him and a single hole cut in it for his eye to see out of, he floats around merchant's square (as a ghost) with a small pail in his tiny hand, going up to various people with a dee dee dee dee dee! treats please! said rather hopefully as he holds his pail out, expecting to be gifted treats.
Treats that are, you know, of the metallic type. But you obviously know that's what he wants, right? ]
( B; HERE AND THERE )
[ At any point throughout the month, there's a few places where one might run into Trunks. If you're of age, you might find him in a bar either in Verens or Shaarnath one night, sitting by himself at the bar with a glass of whatever's on tap, mostly keeping to himself but not exactly looking as though he'll shun anyone who makes chit chat with him. Whatever coffee shop he's holed himself up in is another place to find him, wearing his glasses and surrounded by quite a few stacks of books (both from whatever shop and his own) on the table, scribbling away this plan and that plan, all while making sure to sip on that hot drink and take a bite from whatever sandwich he sometimes forgets he has on that plate; careful not to trip over any extra books near him on the floor. The other place you might find him is out in the market square with stacks of hay or rather large milk cans hoisted over his shoulder, loading up a buggy for an elderly couple. Giru's there to help of course, pulling a basket of apples along... until he accidentally tips it over and said apples roll everywhere down the square. Well, he tried. ]

FUTURE SELF
The past two years alone back home had proven just how wrong he had been about thinking that everything would always be ok... and it seems that extends to even here within this world.
With his father not here (and probably for the best since he's been spared the disappointment of being bested by a kai of all things) and no longer being the same age as Goten, that leaves two people who are best for him to train with: Gohan or his future self. As much respect as he has for Gohan (despite being older than him now), it's his future self that he's decided to train with, to attempt the achievement of unlocking Super Saiyan level 2 which his future self seems to have done. Perhaps because it's a means for them to bond with one another a little better or the fact that their styles can be rather similar to each other, regardless of the reasons, he doesn't allow for his future self to go easy on him.
And that's exactly why they're taking a break now, Trunks coming to flop down on the grass with a few heavy breaths and looking a little worn out. ]
Man, who knew getting to super saiyan two would be so difficult. You'd think it'd be a piece of cake with how easy super saiyan was for me as a kid.
[ Is he getting old or something? ]

ROKUROU
And yet here we are... with a frantic Giru zooming his way through the skies.
It seemed easy enough to do and Giru had been there with him. A girl with a mask stuck on her face... acting a bit strange. Sure, seems pretty tame for the likes of what he's dealt with back home? Throw his brute strength into the mix coupled with a dash of wits and yeah, this seemed pretty easy to deal with... you know, so long as she didn't turn into a giant doll trying to eat him and yes, that's actually happened to him back home.
But maybe he should have caught on a little quicker that there wasn't something entirely right about all of this and maybe, just maybe he should have listened to Giru's warnings of there being danger. But by the time he had? Well, it was too late and Giru, having not wanted to abandon Trunks, fled for the skies, hurrying off in search of help.
Help that is going to be one daemon he notices from high above and he descends the second he recognizes him, coming to frantically zip around him.
Dee dee dee dee dee! Help! Help! Trunks in danger! Help Trunks! Help Trunks! ]

coffee shop!
[ It would seem that the brains part of Trunks brains and brawn won out more than Bulma may have suspected, the more she watches and builds alongside her newly aged-up son. Bulma is by no means complaining - in fact it's just one more tick on her list of reasons she can forever laugh in Vegeta's face about his many speeches about how she shouldn't have too many hopes about her weaker genes coming through.
(Yes, he hadn't given her any of that kind of lip in years, but like a very salty elephant, Bulma will literally never forget Vegeta's particularly shit-headed comments from early on.)
Bulma's grabbed an iced black coffee from the counter before picking her way back through the scattered books to settle back among her own notes and drawings, scribbles more like in some cases. There is zero chance that Bulma is not going to find some way to revive Capsule in some iteration here in Verens, even if that means scavenging parts and bits and pieces out of caves and other parts of the world where available. The workshop space was slowly beginning to build up with projects and drafts, papers with calculations posted all over the walls, though now there's more than one desk in the space for herself, Trunks, and whoever else might drop by to try and work something out in their little group of people.
Bulma stops in her latest line of equation writing, head tipping and a little frown crossing her face before she offers the bit of paper to Trunks. ]
Check that for me. Something seems off.
