Summary: Trunks doing stuff and thangs with Giru and some other people. Closed prompts within threads with an open prompt or two for whoever wants to come across the pair. o/
( A; TRICK OR TREAT?? )
[ Whether or not the tradition is one held within Verens, Giru has come to learn of Halloween, especially the whole asking for and receiving treats part of it. So, having tossed a small white sheet over him and a single hole cut in it for his eye to see out of, he floats around merchant's square (as a ghost) with a small pail in his tiny hand, going up to various people with a dee dee dee dee dee! treats please! said rather hopefully as he holds his pail out, expecting to be gifted treats.
Treats that are, you know, of the metallic type. But you obviously know that's what he wants, right? ]
( B; HERE AND THERE )
[ At any point throughout the month, there's a few places where one might run into Trunks. If you're of age, you might find him in a bar either in Verens or Shaarnath one night, sitting by himself at the bar with a glass of whatever's on tap, mostly keeping to himself but not exactly looking as though he'll shun anyone who makes chit chat with him. Whatever coffee shop he's holed himself up in is another place to find him, wearing his glasses and surrounded by quite a few stacks of books (both from whatever shop and his own) on the table, scribbling away this plan and that plan, all while making sure to sip on that hot drink and take a bite from whatever sandwich he sometimes forgets he has on that plate; careful not to trip over any extra books near him on the floor. The other place you might find him is out in the market square with stacks of hay or rather large milk cans hoisted over his shoulder, loading up a buggy for an elderly couple. Giru's there to help of course, pulling a basket of apples along... until he accidentally tips it over and said apples roll everywhere down the square. Well, he tried. ]

Hmmm! ...I don't know, have we? [Something about him seems so familiar, he just can't put his finger on it!]

Not exactly. I was a kid here for awhile before I left to go back home. When I came back here last month, I was... well... big.

Yeah, for real! I've been here for two years, and I've been back and forth from home a few times. It can get kinda dizzying having all these separate memories! And I don't even know what it would feel like to go home long enough to grow up!

[ Saying that to Giru, who stops with his apple handing to Steven and looks up to the half-saiyan confused. Trunks, on the other hand, looks to Steven rather curiously. ]

Then he smiles sheepishly as it's time to explain how aging works for him.]
Kinda... It's all connected to my gem. I haven't grown at all in years, aside from one time when my powers grew out of control. Also I got a facial hair? [One Single Facial Hair. It's shaved away at the moment, though?]

Is this like a form of immortality or something?
[ Because... it sort of sounds like it? The whole having not grown in years thing at least. ]

Gems can usually live for pretty much forever. I'm just half-gem, so I don't know if it'll be the same for me. But it's definitely messing with my aging!

Yep. My mom's human and my dad's a saiyan. Uh, kinda like a warrior race, I guess. Comes with a few perks, that's for sure.

[ Cue the sheepish chuckle and Giru just looking up to the half-saiyan, wondering why he seems so awkward in the moment. ]
What about you? You probably have a lot more than the slowed aging, right?

Oh yeah, I've got a few of them. [He gives a meek shrug as he goes on.] I can make a shield, or a bubble, and I can also bubble things, plus I have healing spit, and my spit can also bring things to life. I can float and shapeshift, I'm kinda stronger than I think I should be? Aaand sometimes I enter other people's minds when I'm asleep!

Uh-huh! ...Well, I don't have to spit on them. I can also lick my hand and rub it on them, or they can drink my backwash... There's plenty of options!
